We use hand-on therapy, exercise and advice, as required, with the aim to not only treat your current condition but also help prevent it from happening again.


Pilates

Our studio is fully equipped with Pilates equipment including the Reformer, trapeze table, Pilates chair and barrels. Your private 1-1 session is focused on your individual needs which may be to improve sporting or dance performance or simply look, feel and move better. Private sessions benefit those returing from sugery, injury or illhealth so we also have clinical Pilates with our physioth... Read More

Clinical Pilates

Clinical Pilates is a private Pilates session with a physiotherapist utilising all our Pilates studio equipment. This is service is more clinically based and suitable for anyone but especially for those with ongoing medical conditions or returning from illness, injury or ill-health and would benefit from the medical knowledge of a physiotherapist.

Menchu is a Pilates teacher with a strong dance background, having dance training at the Pineapple Studio in London. Her Pilates classes and private lessons are dynamic, varied, fun and designed to get you moving!

She strives to challenge people’s belief in what is possible. ‘It is all about building confidence in your body’.

Founder and owner of reab, Christine is an experienced physiotherapist specialising in musculoskeletal problems. Christine earned her Post Graduate Diploma in Manipulative Physiotherapy from the University of Otago (New Zealand) in 1999. She is an experienced private physiotherapy practitioner, both in New Zealand and here in the UK, and has been practicing in Haywards Heath since 2003 and at reab from 2010.

Christine uses many manual therapy and manipulation techniques learned over many years of training and experience and continues to attend courses and conferences to remain up to date with current evidence based treatments.

She is not available for Pilates sessions on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Following a previous career as a professional ballet and contemporary dancer, Kirsty qualified as a Chartered Physiotherapist from University of London in 2003 and has a wide range of musculoskeletal experience in both the NHS and private practice. Through post-graduate training she has built a keen interest and skills in treating upper limb, wrist and hand conditions, including work-related disorders, alongside helping people with complex long-term pain and disability.

Kirsty applies a very holistic approach to the diagnosis and management of injury and pain, and is trained in a range of manual techniques, acupuncture and exercise therapy.

In 2006, Kirsty qualified as a Pilates Matwork Instructor with the APPI and integrates this into rehabilitation from injury, alongside the use of Qigong Tai Chi.

Here at Reab, Kirsty has musculoskeletal physiotherapy appointments as well as combination Pilates and physiotherapy appointments.
